AMBITROL™ Coolants for Industrial Engines

AMBITROL™ coolants are specially formulated to protect large, stationary Diesel engines — including engines used in gas transmission compressor station service — against over-heating, winter freeze-ups and corrosion. The fluid is dyed a blue-green or light blue color to aid in leak detection.

A complete line of ethylene glycol- and propylene glycol-based coolants — including coolant concentrates, pre-diluted solutions, and replacement inhibitors — is available. 

AMBITROL™ Coolants for Indirect Line Heaters

AMBITROL™ ethylene glycol- and propylene glycol-based coolants — including coolant concentrates, pre-diluted solutions, and replacement inhibitors — are used to deliver reliable heat transfer in indirect line heaters in industries including gas transmission and distribution. AMBITROL™ coolants provide protection against corrosion, as well as over-heating and winter freeze-up with minimal maintenance in remote line heater service.

AMBITROL™ coolants are highly stable products formulated specifically to deliver long-term protection against over-heating, freeze-up, and corrosion in highly demanding applications. They are used in engine circulating systems of railroad locomotives, earth movers, and other industrial equipment as well as in water-based heating systems of industrial and other buildings.
